PAADC - An Online Browser Plugin to Track Online Poltical Ads
PAADC is an online browser plugin to track online political advertising campaigns and collect personal data for researchers. It shows the browser's news feed on Facebook, so you can follow political advertisements and data of interest to you.
It collects the data for you in the form of an encrypted (by SSL) file, which only the researchers at the University of Amsterdam can view. This is done by following the links in the file.
The research behind the plugin is made possible by an agreement between the Universiteit van Amsterdam and De Volkskrant, which makes the researcher an official observer of the election.
